Building a studio that feels like home

May 12, 2026 · 4 min read

When I first imagined Dear Daisy Studio, I didn't picture a glossy brand or a sprint toward scale. I pictured a room with morning light, a warm mug nearby, and the quiet permission to make things slowly.

Softness, it turns out, is a strategy. It shapes what I say yes to, what I let go of, and the kind of work I'm willing to put my name on. It means choosing fewer projects with more care, and letting the studio grow at a pace that doesn't burn out the person running it.

If you're building something of your own, I hope you trust your own rhythm. The internet will always sell you urgency. Your work doesn't have to match that volume to matter.
